My sister, Mitzi, asked me one day... "Dee, have you ever really listened to the song "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder or read the lyrics?"

"No, I haven't." was my reply

To her suggestion, I looked up the lyrics and soon dl'd the song to our computer.....as most everybody knows it took 14 years to be blessed with our daughter, Ryanne.....and we thank God daily for her. I am absolutely loving the words to the song listed above and am posting them here, in case other ppl are unsure of the words to the song......in fact, between you and I, I sang many of them wrong, whenever I heard the song, longgggg ago *LOL*

The song truly fits 'us' :)

A hard day for my family...2 years later, still very hard. Losing a loved one is not easy. You ARE missed, Daphne, but never forgotten!!!

At Grandpa and Grandma's....Great Aunt Jean was there, along with Aunt Mitzi, Bubba, Teona and Draven....had a good time :)


Ryanne loves swinging on the swingset BUT she just isn't fond of the grass/ground! Putting her down and she just stands still like "NO WAY" I'm sure eventually she'll get use to it and we'll be chasing her alllllllllll over ;)





Seriously....nothing like a hotdog cooked over an open fire :) YUM-O!! (not to mention the s'mores mmmmmmmmmmmmm GOOD)

1st park visit....

Daddy took her up the curvy slide and I took a pic and he let go of her....I think I probably had the look of "OMG" moreso than Ryanne did, at the end of the slide she was excited!! scared Mom though ;)

Been quite sometime now...

April 11th, 2008......Ryanne had her 15 month checkup...she's healthy :)

She weighed 20.13 pounds and was 29 3/4's inches long and her head circ. was 18 inches.

She got 4 shots....cried during, few minutes after but did well with them :) For being such a brave girl, she got some goodies afterwards ;)


So happy our lil girl's healthy and thriving!!!

Broke Ryanne's heart.....(for a bit)

So, we were at Mom's today and ate supper there.....Mom's watching Draven, too and after supper....Grandpa turned the stations and found Cars, one of Draven's FAVORITE movies!!!

Well, he curled up with Grandpa in his chair and lil Miss Ryanne shortly followed...probably a bit of jealousy there ;)

I notice the time and start picking up toys and getting things ready to come home to wake Danny up cause he has to work tonight....OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!! When it came to getting her shoes and coat on...you would have thought I'd hurt her :( She was sooooooo wanting to stay and watch Cars with them....in Gramp's chair but we HAD to leave! It was totally heartbreaking listening to her CRY like she was....and she cried until we were about 1/2 way home...bless her sweet lil heart!!!

If I hadn't had to get Danny up from sleeping, I'd have stayed and let her enjoy that time with Grandpa, cause I think Gramps liked it too! :)
